RVC Achieved ISO9001:2008 Certification, Realizing “Quality First in Design”

RVC has been continuously expanding our business with target to become worldwide number 1 design center in Renesas Group until 2018. To realize this target, RVC must prove our high quality and high reliability design with an effective quality management system in each product to our customers. Therefore, along with CMMI certification in Software Engineering Division, achieving ISO9001:2008 certification in Hardware Engineering Division and related departments (HR, Procurement, IT, Facility) is an important requirement to show it up to customers, and then get more business opportunities.

It took us more than one year from May 2014 to June 2015 for preparation to achieve ISO9001:2008 certification. Starting with preparing over 26 procedures, we performed ISO9001:2008 training for all related departments and applied these procedures into actual design activities at the next step. Thanks to our great association and our careful preparation, RVC completed official audit in June/2015 and got ISO9001:2008 certification in Oct/2015.

We are very proud of this achievement. By keeping “Quality first in design” in our mind and applying ISO9001:2008 procedures, we have been providing qualified designs and products, satisfying our customers’ requirements. Moreover, maintaining and improving the RVC ISO9001:2008 system are more important for us at the next step. We will continue these actions for quality improvement, besides aiming to the next TS16949 certification in 2016, to bring more business for RVC.

Temporarily putting aside the next actions, at this moment, let’s enjoy achievement of ISO9001:2008 certification!
