Renesas Design Vietnam presenting 181 scholarships to poor pupils of An Thoi Dong Primary School in Can Gio District

In order to continue research and development activities, a highly educated workforce is a decisive factor to the success of RVC’s business. Therefore RVC chose education as a main focus of investment in our corporate social responsibilities program.

Presenting scholarship to poor pupils of primary school is an annual activity of RVC Corporate Social Responsibilities Program besides other education support plans.

2017 is the 8th year RVC has continuously offered scholarship to poor pupils of primary school. This year, RVC selected An Thoi Dong Primary School of Can Gio District, Ho Chi Minh City. This school is located in an area where 51% of households are poor with annual income less than 16 million per year.

Besides the budget donated by RVC, RVC employees also responded positively and enthusiastically to the call for donation of this charity activity.

Totally, 181 poor pupils of An Thoi Dong Primary School were selected to be sponsored for school fees by RVC and RVC employees. Sum value of the scholarship this year is 183.826.750 VND for 181 pupils. The Scholarship Presentation Ceremony was organized at An Thoi Dong Primary School at 14:00 p.m, October 03rd, 2017 with participation of RVC, RVC employees, teachers, and 181 poor pupils as well as their parents.

Hopefully with our financial support, these children can obtain full primary school education, which is the fundamental step for them to go further towards a better life and a brighter future.
