TOKYO, Japan, January 7, 2019―― As announced in the press release, “Renesas Electronics Announces Absorption-Type Merger (Simplified Merger) with Consolidated Subsidiary” dated October 31, 2018, Renesas Electronics Corporation (Renesas, TSE: 6723) today announced the completion of the transactions to consolidate Renesas Semiconductor Package & Test Solutions Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Renesas, through an absorption-type merger on January 1, 2019.
